Thursday
Hink Pink [ last one for this week!] : The Great One’s personal watercraft.
PS to yesterday's new word - have you used snafu in a sentence yet?
1. A few minutes of reading time.
2. Discussion of "In Plaster" - going to have to keep it brief!
3. Computer lab time: write a stand alone response to a Sylvia Plath poem. I am going to ask you to limit your discussion to only one poem because this is only a 150 - 300 word [approximately] response. If you wish, you can find a poem of Plath online, or you can discuss the ones we covered in class: Metaphors, Mad Girl's Love Song, Mirror, In Plaster. The prompt for the response is "Discuss the image of the 'divided self' which Plath uses in her poetry. Remember 3 levels of reading, discuss at least three poetic techniques, blend quotes, have a hook, use PEE, mention poet's name, name of poem,...
Wednesday
